Macari’s Fish n Chips is my favorite spot and haddock and fries with vinegar and mayo on the side is my favorite go-to. Other spots in Fort William you can go to are Fishy fishy, Ben Nevis Takeaway, Ben-Nevis Bar, Crannog Seafood Restaurant, Highland Basecamp Bistro and Blas na Mara. Climbers love Trails End Café at Nevis Range and The Bistro. Commoners or tourists alike go for The Geographer, The Malt Man, Black Isle Bar, Ben Nevis Bar, The Highland Cook and Ben Nevis Inn. Lunch aside, the highlands has a spot for romantics as well: The Wildcat, Farine Bakery, The Kilted Camel, Robyn’s Nest, The Highland Soap Company and Three-Wise Monkeys. I divert.

Today we prepare baked potatoes n salmon. The meal is best started with potatoes and tuna, best paired with white wine and fruit tarts served as dessert.

INGREDIENTS

Baked Potatoes

2 Large Potatoes

1 ½ Peppers

Olive Oil

Cherry Tomatoes

Asparagus

PROCEDURE

Boil potatoes for 10 minutes

Slice

Place it beside cherry tomatoes; asparagus; diced peppers

Let it bake for 1 and a half hours
